AT&T with mobile TV
You’ll have to excuse the slight rhyme in the title, but I’ve got some semi-interesting news.
Apparently AT&T has been working on mobile TV for its cell-phones. The original plan, almost a year ago, was announced to use “MediaFLO” technology which would provide multicast video clips, datacasting of realtime information and entertainment, and dedicated audio.
Apparently the technology will only use what it already does for Verizons Vcast TV service and offer such channels as Fox, NBC, ESPN, CBS, and MTV.
I wouldn’t really complain if I JUST had tv channels on my phone though… I guess it depends when they announce a price… and of course, how much….
